OUR COMPANY AND PRODUCTS
Codina exist for more than 20 years. This family business is primarily dedicated to the quality of their products. This is why Codina harvest the best plants over the world to make the best quality oils. Once the plants are harvested they are processed in Codina's factory in a way that preserve all the goodness of each plant: the "old fashion" cold press.

In France Codina's reputation has spread. Health and beauty magazins often ask its owner, Michel Pobeda, for interviews. For Michel, sharing knowlege is important.

QUALITY CONTROL

To deliver the best product, Codina and his parent Company Teco has developed a long supply chain from the bush to the final user. Shea tree grown in many West African countries and Codina needs large quantities to supplies sheabutter all over the world.

Locally and before shipment, we control the peroxyde value of the crushed sheabutter, conducting acidity test in Lomé (Togo) laboratory.

The raw butter is only filtered through mechanical filterFor the refined one, we push down the acidity below 1 pct and we filtered through white earth for decoloring (not bleaching).
Regularly we conduct sensory (organoleptic) tests to control physical aspect, viscosity, tasting, smell (aroma), color and physical sensation in Paris (France) Laboratory.
